Jack Is Back!

24 returns tonight with with a 2-hour premeire to kick off Season 8. It has been 7 months since we have watched an All-New 24. As we think back to the end of Season 7, there were a lot of loose ends that we will look to be tied up. Here are a few that stand out to me:

• What's up with Jack? -- At the end of season 7, we are left with Jack being put into a coma to help ease the pain caused by the pathogen that he was infected with. Kim Bauer then shows up at the clinic saying that she wants to go throught with an experiemental stem cell treatment that has a chance of curing Jack. And thats where we are left....
• Rene goin rogue -- At the end of season 7, we are left with Rene breaking away from her "by the book" personality by locking herself and Janis in a holding room. She then tells Janis to cuff herself to a pole, while she goes into the cell where Alan Wilson sits. It seems as though Rene is about to proceed with some kind of torture or interrogation, but we dont know. And thats where we are left....
• Where is Tony? -- At the end of season 7, we are left with Tony being dragged away by FBI after being shot by Jack. It was Tony who got Alan Wilson alone and was preparing to kill him when Jack intervened. Its hard to think that a character like Tony would disappear without dying. Heck, he didnt even disappear after we all thought he was dead! And thats where we are left....

So we'll be keepin an eye on those loose ends tonight when 24 starts up again!! Its goin down!! 9/8c on FOX. 24 Season 8! New York's gettin JACKED!
